Our family-friendly practice is here to benefit not only you, but your children as well. We are thrilled to do so by offering pediatric dentistry in Gilbert, Arizona.

We invite you to bring your child into our office by the age of 1 or six months after their first tooth has erupted. By doing so, your dentist, Dr. Naman B. Patel, will be able to closely evaluate your child’s teeth, gums, and jaw bone and also get to know your child a little bit better. It is important for us to meet with your child at a young age because it helps them feel comfortable and welcomed at the dental office. During this appointment, your dentist will check their oral cavity and gently clean any teeth your child has. If it is needed, he will also provide a fluoride treatment that will give your child’s teeth the strength they need to survive.

In addition to the cleaning, your dentist at Island Dental will discuss a number of topics with you to ensure a positive and strong oral health.

These topics might include:

  • Positive and effective oral hygiene practices to help prevent decay
  • Fluoride needs
  • Teething
  • Thumb sucking
  • Proper nutrition

To schedule your child’s first dental visit, call our office now! We are excited to meet your child and help them obtain a strong and healthy oral cavity.
